In case of planned hospitalization, you need to fill the pre-authorization form to intimate the insurance company before 48 hours of such hospitalization. For immediate hospitalization, you should fill the pre-authorization form within 24 hours of hospitalization. On submission of required documents, the insurance company pays the medical expenses directly to the hospital.
Reimbursement Claim: If you are hospitalized with the non-network hospital, Reliance general health insurance will reimburse you for the medical expenses incurred upon hospitalization. You need to provide the medical bills and other required documents for reimbursement of the claim.
