Bharti AXA Life Insurance Co. Ltd. is a joint venture between one of India’s leading business Groups-Bharti group and a France based global leader in financial protection and wealth management-AXA Group. Bharti holds now 51 percent (earlier 74%), while AXA owns the remaining 49 percent stake in the joint venture (earlier 26%) when Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approved AXA Group's proposal to increase stake in its life.

Bharti AXA Life started its national operation in December 2006 and has been continuously intensifying its presence across the country since then. The company offers a range of innovative insurance products and services catering to the specific insurance and wealth management needs of the people. The latest Claim Settlement Ratio (CSR) of Bharti AXA Life for FY 2019-20 is 97.35%.
