Religare Health Launches New Cover with Sum Assured of up to Rs. 75 Lakhs

Religare Health Insurance has launched an new version of its flagship product Care with sum insured of up to Rs 75 lakhs, compared to its previous avatar of where the maximum cover of Rs 60 lakh earlier.

The policy allows global coverage of 12 critical illnesses, instead of 5 earlier. The plan has an in-built maternity cover of up to Rs 1 lakh. Also, the list of named Day-Care Medical Procedures has been increased from 175 to 541.

According to a company release, the policy offers coverage of AYUSH treatments, i.e., Ayurveda, Unani, Sidha & Homeopathy (for Sum Insured Rs 3 Lakh and above).

In addition the company has included some new optional covers including Unlimited Automatic Recharge of Sum Insured and Personal Accident Cover You can also increase the sum insured up to 150% through ‘No Claim Bonus’ and ‘No Claim Bonus Super’ (Optional Cover) and avail of discounts of 7.5% and 10% on premium rates for 2-year & 3-year policies, respectively.
