What are the Plan Benefits?

Policy Benefits

    • This policy provides cover for the first diagnosis of 13 Critical Illnesses (Cancer of Specified Severity, Kidney Failure Requiring Regular Dialysis,Primary Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, Multiple Sclerosis With Persisting Symptoms), Surgical Procedures (Major Organ/ Bone MarrowTransplant, Open Chest CABG, Aorta Graft Surgery, Open Heart Replacement or Repair of Heart Valves), & Medical Events (Stroke Resulting in Permanent Symptoms, First Heart Attack of Specified Severity, Coma of Specified Severity, Total blindness, Permanent Paralysis of Limbs).
    • Lumpsum fixed Payout is given to the insured on diagnosis of any of the 13 covered Critical Illnesses during the policy period opted.

Value Added Benefits

    • Option to choose policy term of 1 year plan or 3 years.
    • No pre-policy medical check-up is required up to 45 years of age, having no medical history.
    • Cost incurred towards pre-acceptance medical check-up is reimbursed on the acceptance of the proposal.
    • Enjoy tax benefit u/s 80D as per IT Act 1961 for premium paid under this policy.

Sub Limits

    • No co-pay/cost sharing is applicable under this plan.
    • Benefit under this plan is payable up to Rs 50 Lacs.
    • 50% cost of pre-acceptance medical check-up is reimbursed, on acceptance of the proposal.

Waiting Period Clause

    • Initial Waiting Period: A waiting period of 90 daysfrom the inception date of this policy.
    • Survival Waiting Period: The benefit under this plan is payable, if the insured person survives for at least 28 days from the date of first diagnosis of any one of the listed critical illnesses.
    • Assessment Waiting Period: A minimum assessment period of 28 days is applicable for all listed critical illnesses except Major Organ Transplant (180 days), Stroke (90 days), Coma (30 days), & Paralysis (90 days). The insured person needs to survive through the assessment period mentioned for the respective critical illnesses.
