What are the Plan Benefits?

Policy Benefits

    • It covers Hospitalization benefits which include Room charges, Surgeon, Anaesthetist, Medical Practitioner, Consultants, Specialists Fees, ICU Charges, etc. for a minimum stay of 24 hours in the hospital subject to sub limits.
    • Domiciliary Hospitalization expenses are covered under this policy.
    • Organ Donor expenses covered subject to sub limits.
    • Policy also offers lumpsum payment if diagnosed with any of the listed 8 critical illnesses.

Value Added Benefits

    • Ambulance charges are reimbursed under this policy.
    • Cummulative Bonus of 5% of the sum insured is payable to a maximum of 50% of the sum insured.
    • Health check up expenses are covered once after a block of every 3 claim free years.
    • Tax Benefits under section 80 D.

Sub Limits

    • Room charges are capped subject to 1% of sum insured per day.
    • (ICU) chargesare capped subject to 2% of sum insured per day.
    • Company’s liability in respect of claims arising due to Cataract is up to Rs 10000/- and for Benign prostatic hyperplasia is up to Rs 20,000.
    • Ambulance charges up to a maximum limit of Rs 1000/- (one thousand) in a policy period shall be reimbursed.
    • Health check up Expenses payable is a maximum of 2% of the average sum insured.
    • Co-payment of 10% shall apply to all the admissible claims other than claims arising due to Cataract and Benign prostatic hyperplasia. Co-payment of 20% shall be considered wherever the insured person has opted.
    • Co-payment of 10% shall apply to all the admissible claims arising out of pre-existing diseases for which the insured person opted cover and paid an additional premium.

Waiting Period Clause

    • Initial waiting period: 30 days for all illnesses (not applicable on renewal or for accidents)
    • Specific waiting periods: 12 months waiting period for specified diseases and conditions.
    • Pre-existing diseases: Covered after 24 months.
